Some of the most meaningful acts of mercy happen when generations come together! Creating opportunities for people of all ages to serve side-by-side builds community, deepens relationships, and leaves a lasting impact.

Ideas to Foster Intergenerational Connections:
- Mercy Buddies: Pair youth with seniors to serve together regularly. Consider partnering with places like the St. John XXIII Residence to create opportunities for meaningful service and companionship.
- Multi-Age Mercy Stations: At your Mercy Event, design stations where each age group contributes their skills.
- Story Sharing: Invite youth to interview seniors and collect stories of how they’ve lived out mercy in their own lives. Highlight these in newsletters or social posts!
- Tech Help Tables: Organize a session where young volunteers assist seniors with using smartphones or tablets—serving with both patience and care.
- Craft with Purpose: Have seniors teach youth how to make handmade items (like rosaries, cards, or blankets) to donate to those in need.
- Care Packages: Invite mixed-age teams to assemble care kits with thoughtful, handwritten notes to brighten someone’s day.

We have launched a media campaign to invite visitors back after Easter. Evergreen billboards and paid social media ads will encourage people to find a local Catholic Church through wwwMyCatholicMass.org to go to and pray.
